1986
Soon after, the company diversified its business portfolio and ventured into steel by commissioning a Melting Furnace in 1986.
1992
SGI acquired Pak-Kashmir Flour mills situated in Dadyal, AJK.
2010
To expand its capacity, SGI acquired Classic Steel Re-Rolling Mill in 2010, the plant was modified and dedicated to the production of 10mm (3/8 inch) size of Steel bars.
2012
The group delved into real estate business with the acquisition of commercial plot in F-11 and construction of Commercial building named Time Square F-11
2016
The real estate business was further enhanced by the successful completion of Time Square I-8, one of the most prominent buildings in I-8 Markaz.
2019
The group delivered another successful real estate project in I-10 Markaz by the name of Time Square I-10 in 2019.
1983
The company started in 1983 with a Flour milling business by starting operations of it’s first plant, Siddiqui Flour & General Mills.
1990
SGI soon entered the Re-Rolling Mills club and in 1990 our flagship plant, Siddiqui Steel commenced operations, a perfect example of Vertical-Forward Integration.
1998
SGI acquired United Kashmir (UK) Flour mills situated in Kalyam-More Rawat, Punjab.
2011
Keeping in view the changing times, SGI established a new Re-Rolling Mill in 2011 in Hattar Industrial Estate, KPK to meet the requirement of steel bars on national level projects.
2014
To ensure smooth supply of billets for Steel bars production, SGI acquired a 7 Tons Induction Melting Furnace in 2014, named Siddiqui Steel Furnace.
2018
The real estate business was further enhanced by the successful completion of Time Square I-8, one of the most prominent buildings in I-8 Markaz.
2024
With the aim of achieving international production practices through technological advancement the group set out to build a composite, state of the art unit with latest machinery in Hattar, KPK. The plant started operations in March 2024 with a production capacity of 300,000 tons/annum and is the most modern plant in the entire northern region and one of the most modern plants in the country.
